Sugarcreek Veterans Park - Jim Pee Wee Martin Statue
In early 2021, I was approached by a veteran advocate and reporter from San Diego, CA. with, "I want to have a statue created for your grandpa!" I never looked back!

Accomplishments
Collaborated with Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District, Jeff Stewart, Nadine Daugherty - Former Sugarcreek Trustee, Bellbrook Sugarcreek School Board Members in securing a location for the Sugarcreek Veterans Park location on Pine Ct. and establishing a location for the statue of our hometown hero, Jim Pee Wee Martin.
Teamed up with current Sugarcreek Trustee, Carolyn Destefani, on organizing the dedication ceremony for the Sugarcreek Veterans Memorial. I secured guest speakers such as Governor Mike Dewine, US District Judge for Southern District, Thomas Rose, SkyDive Greene County planes and the Round Canopy Paratroopers from Palatka, Florida for the August 16, 2025 event.
Delivered training opportunities for local government workers in the entire Miami Valley Region through Miami Valley Communication Council (MVCC) in Centerville, Ohio. This opportunity has provided me in building positive relationships with our surrounding cities and townships administrators and leaders in other local municipalities throughout the Miami Valley and beyond.
Planned Newly Elected Officials Training held in Centerville in collaboration with Miami Valley Risk Management (MVRMA) and local city managers, elected officials and attorneys in the area.
Served on committees and make data driven decisions on funding with restrictions and mandates both locally, state and federal where guidelines and compliance are required for implementation and use of funds. These skills are transferable in any capacity.
Led grant writing committees while serving in many different capacities while working at Dayton Public Schools. Many of these opportunities and funding sources provided more reading materials for students, more professional development for teachers and many other needs for urban education.
Worked closely with the Warren County's Veteran Court where I served as the speaker for veteran graduates who had completed all requirements of the court.
Serving as the Executive Director of the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce I implemented and worked collaborating with:
